POSITION OVERVIEW

With recent growth within our business we now have a requirement for Financial Integration and Report Analyst
BASIC FUNCTION
The primary function of this role is to oversee/perform the successful integration of the various finance applications
This role will also provide specialist support in the development of special purpose reports by using various report writing tools such as FRx, etc. It is also the role of this function to re-align existing reporting requirements with the broader Management Information System (MIS) initiatives of the company.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide technical support for the integration of finance applications including Microsoft Great Plains, Workbench, PayGlobal, Cobra, WinSight, and OPP systems. This includes the integration of accounting sub-ledgers into the financial general ledger which requires the application of knowledge of the relationship of general and sub-ledgers
Develop and maintain an effective, centralized and shared Management Information System. This requires the application of sound accounting skills and the use of specialized report writing tools in
Developing the capability to serve the reporting needs of the company for business unit and corporate reporting.
Developing reporting systems to assist in analysis and decision-making, planning and budgetary control, and corporate and divisional performance appraisals. These include performance metrics & benchmarks, scorecards, and dashboards.
Provide specialist technical support in the development and enhancement of systems right through planning and implementation phases of finance systems projects.
Provide support in the review of the Application Security Plan and Access Control List with regard to integration and report writing tools, the MIS, and other sensitive reports.
Essential skills required for this role are:
Associate Diploma in Accounting (Minimum)
Experience in Cyrstal writting tools
Other report writting tools such Cognos
Advance SQL Skills
Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting
Minimum of 3 years experience in information systems
Candidates must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and retain a Defence Security Clearance.
