The team
Reporting through to the CTO, the Technology Office is accountable for technical strategy, architecture, design, build & test functions. The core services that the team deliver include Enterprise, Information, Technical and Solution Architecture, Technical / Design Leads, Digital Software Engineering, Cloud Platform Engineering, Integration Centre of Excellence, Information & Analytics Centre of Excellence and Enterprise Testing Services.
About the role
The purpose of the Automation & Optimisation Centre of Excellence (COE) Leader role is to create & mature the Centre of Excellence for technologies & practices surrounding the optimisation of business processes and insights.
The landscape includes:
•             Robotic Process Automation
•             Machine Learning & associated Data Science capability
•             Cognitive Artificial Intelligence
•             Business Process Management
•             Digital Process Optimisation
What we’re looking for:
To be successful in securing this role, we are looking for someone who can help us take this new function to the next level of maturity.
As a result, we are looking for someone who has hands-on experience with one (or all) of the following technologies: UIPath, Blue Prism or Automation Anywhere.
In addition, we are looking for:
Demonstrated team leadership / people management experience
Experience with automation processes and related software application
Passion for improving business process and efficiency
Proven experience navigating through and influencing around a large, complex corporate organisation
A background in software engineering
Knowledge of machine learning modelling and training techniques for process mining (advantageous)
