As Transdev’s Stakeholder & Community Engagement Manager, you"ll play an important role for the future of our city: helping local residents, business owners and commuters to safely integrate the new light rail network into their lives.
Responsibilities will include:
developing and updating Sydney"s Stakeholder and Community Engagement Plan (SCEP), including oversight of the stakeholder relations approaches and relevant reporting
developing and integrating the strategy for Sydney Light Rail"s Public Safety Campaign, overseeing the campaign
guiding the proactive assessment of potential communication risks in association with maintenance works being carried out on the network and developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
managing the implementation of media protocols and assisting Transport for NS in developing responses
overseeing corporate communications and sharing the key messages about Sydney Light Rail with stakeholders
Working closely with the Managing Director, this role will also provide high level advice to the MD and the Senior Management Team and work closely with the Public Safety and Security Manager. In addition you will have the opportunity to mentor and lead the Internal Communication Specialist
What you bring
Regardless of Industry your background will include demonstrated experience in a similar role. You will be passionate about working with the community, facilitating face- to- face sessions and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders and community representatives. Given the nature of the role you will possess superior oral and written communication skills, combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be able to work autonomously, but at the same time enjoy being part of a team.
