Human Resources Officer

Classification: ANU Officer Grade 5 (Administration)Salary package: $71,878 - $78,411 per annum plus superannuation
Terms: Two (2) Roles, Full time, Fixed term (5 months and 9 months)
The Science; Health & Medicine (SHM) Administration team delivers high quality administrative support and leadership to the core academic activities of research and education for the ANU Colleges of Science; Health and Medicine, the most research intensive unit of the Australian National University. The SHM Human Resources team have an exciting opportunity for two suitably qualified HR generalists to join our team to support a broad range of clients across the two largest Colleges at the ANU; the ANU College of Health & Medicine, and the ANU College of Science. You will have the opportunity to continue to develop your knowledge and understanding of a diverse range of operational HR tasks, specifically recruitment, payroll, reporting, and exposure to relevant HR Information Systems.
The successful applicants will demonstrate a solid general knowledge of HR processes and procedures and a commitment to developing a career in HR. We are looking for a team member with excellent interpersonal skills, strong self-management and the capacity to quickly develop productive professional relationships with colleagues and clients. Highly developed organisational skills, effective time management and excellent attention to detail are all essential attributes for this position.
