Ref. 21400 Wireless Telecommunications - We wish to develop research in the areas of wireless communications protocols and applications of electromagnetic propagation and material technology. This would compliment our strength in communications and networking, electromagnetism, antennas and smart material. Expertise is required in one of more of microwave to terahertz guided wave technology, multipath wireless systems and protocols, and remote sensing applications. Key research directions may include cross-layer networks capitalizing on well characterized physical implementation, exploring millimetre telementry and next generation terahertz technology, or practical implementation of mobile or wireless communications systems.
