Ref. 21388 / 21389 Legal Governance - The ‘Legal Governance’ Core builds upon the existing strengths of the Centre for Environmental Law, the Centre for Comparative Law, History and Governance and the School of Law in the new Faculty of Arts. We research legal governance and regulatory problems facing governments, business, and communities in the new world order, including global and national governance, environmental sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and the medico-legal challenges of human health. Our specialized research programs embrace international law and governance, comparative and Anglo-Commonwealth law and governance (including legal history), environmental law and governance, corporate law and governance, and health law and governance. The ‘Legal Governance’ team currently comprises eight professors and early career researchers, all with significant track records in cross-disciplinary legal governance and regulatory research. The ‘Legal Governance’ CoRE builds upon this expertise and Macquarie Law’s established reputation for cross-disciplinary research in the fields of international, public and private law. Our research reaches out to the legal profession, business, government and NGOs requiring expertise in legal governance in Australia and worldwide. We are seeking dynamic researchers to join and further develop our Legal Governance CORE. This is a research-oriented position and the nature of the workload activities will be the subject of negotiation. Up to two appointments will be made at professorial level (Level E). Macquarie University is an Equal Opportunity Employer with a commitment to diversity and social inclusion. We encourage applications from Indigenous Australians; people with a disability; those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds; and women (particularly for senior and non-traditional vacancies). Please note that only those applications submitted via the Macquarie University Online Recruitment System will be accepted. Email a Friend :
