Ref. 21385 Language Science - We seek an internationally prominent scholar whose research interests are in experimental comprehension/production and acoustic studies of child language, including the acquisition of specific linguistic structures. We are interested in someone who studies the nature of children’s developing representations in phonology, morphology and/or syntax. It is desirable that the candidate have experience investigating how these representations develop in normal children, and in children who are language delayed. Other desirable criteria include experience conducting cross-linguistic research, and expertise in corpus studies of children’s spontaneous speech production.
