The role of the Credit Manager is to lead a team in the provision of Credit Management and Collection services to OCP businesses within New Zealand to agreed service levels, whilst optimising debtors working capital in alignment with OCP NZ business strategy. This position has 6 direct reports, the team looks after approximately 4500 Dulux, Yates and Selleys accounts.
Key accountabilities include:
Contributing to the establishment and maintenance of a safe working environment
Ensuring there are no breaches of the Trade Practices Act or regulations
Deliver improved cashflow/working capital
Days Sales Outstanding and Collection Compliance targets
Provide leadership for the credit team
Manage the internal customer relationship
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 - 3 years supervisory experience and financial skills. You must pay high importance on accuracy and have the ability to meet demanding deadlines. It is also important you have at least 5 - 7 years credit experience.
