Brisbane’s first cross river tunnel is rapidly taking shape, with more than 1 km of tunnel excavated at Kangaroo Point and major excavation underway at Bowen Hills. At this site, our 2 four storey, German Tunnel Boring machines have started carving out the rock under the exhibition grounds. Excavation on the North South Bypass Tunnel is ahead of the schedule and all the surface, structures and tunneling sites are extremely busy. We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Southern Surface team. Reporting to the Southern Surface Works Project Manager, you will be responsible for a significant section of the works and you will assist the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to implement and maintain project’s quality management system. We require the candidate to contribute to the achievement of Project Objectives including the achievement of quality standards. Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering is required along with the sound knowledge of Quality Management Systems. Experience in the Construction & Engineering Industry including experience in the implementation of Quality Systems is highly regarded. This ‘Ready to Go’ position is based in Brisbane.
