The Role We are looking for an experienced disability assessment advisor to support prospective and current students with a disability who are seeking adjustments to enable them a suitable learning environment to participate fully in their studies. The role involves having a sound knowledge of relevant Disability Discrimination and Privacy Legislation, adult education processes, procedures and systems, and a detailed knowledge of a wide range of disabilities and their effects.
Degree or equivalent experience in disability or related health discipline.
Experience assessing for services/adjustments and providing support to clients with disabilities.
Demonstrated high-level interpersonal skills, capacity to liaise within the organisational setting at all levels with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Identifying and referring clinical scenarios where an individual or group is identified as at risk.
Demonstrated skill and experience in prioritizing competing demands in a work environment
