CANBERRA - POLICY AND INVESTIGATIONS SUPPORT OFFICER / APS 6 - PN 60011590 - The Values and Conduct Section (VCS) is responsible for investigating allegations of fraud, criminal behaviour and breaches of the APS Code of Conduct by departmental staff. As well as providing a specialised internal investigations service to the department the VCS is responsible for the development and implementation of a number of polices related to the APS Values and Code of Conduct in accordance with the Public Service Act 1999 and related legislative framework, as well as the provision of advice and assistance to departmental staff. As a Policy and Investigations Support Officer you will provide specialist investigation support services, undertake policy development and provide advice to senior managers about Code of Conduct issues. You will be required to apply a broad knowledge and understanding of the Department, and undertake a range of project management activities assigned on a team or individual basis. A key aspect of your role will include an ability to work with complex, sensitive and detailed information, and produce quality outcomes involving a high level of research and analysis.
