Commercial Services Manager

Classification: Senior Manager 1 (Administration) Salary package : $111,621- $117,039 per annum plus 17% superannuationTerms: Full time, Fixed term (12 months)
• Manage a large, diverse and unique commercial services portfolio, which includes entertainment, retail and commercial entities
• Drive the continual improvement of services, and identify new business and service opportunities in order to deliver success and overall improvements to ANU.
The mission of Facilities and Services Division is to "Enable academic excellence at ANU through integrated and innovative facilities and project delivery." The four key portfolios are Corporate and Client Services, Maintenance, Operations and Projects.
Based within the Corporate and Client Services portfolio, the Commercial Services Manager is responsible for the ongoing operational, strategic management and business development of the Facilities and Services Division"s Commercial Services portfolio, which encompasses:
• Four Child Care tenancies
• In excess of 60 Commercial Tenancies around campus, including the new Kambri precinct.
As Commercial Services Manager, you will take responsibility for ensuring that all areas provide appropriate amenity and commercial services to the ANU community, are commercially viable and operate in an efficient and effective manner as per the strategic and operational aims.
You will utilise your strong business acumen to grow the commercial services portfolio to increase revenues whilst also providing an increase to the range of commercial services and amenity.
You will also manage the leave administration functions including the negotiation and co-ordination of the lease renewal process, the documentation and execution of licences and leases, and the day to day property management of the commercial, retail and residential leasing portfolios.
Success in this role will be determined by your extensive experience in commercial / retail / residential / venue property management. You will also possess strong relationship management skills working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders in order to understand, cater for, and grow sustainable business opportunities to meet the needs of the diverse community.
