The International Strategy & Partnerships (ISP) team, within the broader Global Engagement portfolio, is recruiting for a number of positions to enhance our capacity to deliver a university-wide approach to international engagement and ensure the universities global impact through this engagement. This is a great opportunity to get involved with a growing team.
The core function of the International Intelligence and Briefings Manager role is to provide a high-level intelligence gathering capability and strategic advisory service to the university. The position will work closely with the newly created International Agreements & Compliance Manager and then International Visits, Protocol and Delegations Manager to deliver a seamless understanding of international engagement across the university.
Responsibilities of the position include:
Undertake intelligence gathering activities in relation to the university"s international engagement, including partnerships, policy, and risk.
Identify and monitor emerging opportunities, risks and changes relating to international research and education.
Lead the development of briefings for senior university staff for key international engagement activities, including liaison with relevant areas across the university
Compile and analyse research data and metrics to inform strategic advice on international engagement opportunities.
