BUSINESS RESILIENCE ADVISOR
The Safety, Security & Business Resilience Team supports all Metro Trains Melbourne divisions with Security, Emergency Management and Business Impact assessments and planning.
We are currently looking for a Business Resilience professional with solid incident management experience to join the team.
The Business Resilience Advisor will support the Business Resilience Manager and site managers across the network to implement and oversee local emergency response and incident management plans and activities.
Key activities include:
Coordinate divisional, departmental and site emergency trials, audits, and desktop exercises
Assist with the drafting of local emergency management plans, evacuation plans and posters
Attend local council and emergency services meetings ensuring local plans and related actions are documented and completed
Effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders including the state government and authorities, ARO and Network Operators to identify and understand risks and hazards (both existing and potential)
Participate in and support MTM"s ongoing Business Improvement initiatives and drive improvement initiatives regarding the Operations Division safety performance, including providing guidance on the Divisional Safety Plan
Provide risk management advice and support to managers and supervisors in the Operations Division
Ensure information, training and educational programs are in place for management, and the Network Team
You will come to us with tertiary qualifications in OH&S, Risk Management, and/or Business Administration and possess solid experience in document and process development and job-related management systems.
ISO9001, TAE40110 and working knowledge of AS/NZS/ISO standards for risk and security management are all desirable.
You will confidently demonstrate knowledge of legislation related to business continuity, emergency management and rail network security and have experience in rail, critical infrastructure or related industries.
You will demonstrate highly attuned communication skills, and the ability to both engage and manage stakeholders at all levels through effectively identifying customer specifications and requirements.
Safety awareness and responsibility will be second nature to you along with your drive to deliver innovative solutions and continuous improvement in a challenging and ever-evolving environment.
