You will be joining an organisation that is known as a global leader in its field but also prides itself on being dynamic, progressive and providing real work/life balance to their employees.Position Purpose:Enterprise Network Service Delivery Manager has overall responsibility for the performance and availability of:Enterprise Network infrastructure including core routers & switches, data centre and WAN switches, firewalls, load balancers and other network appliances; and Enterprise Network services including the proxy, DNS, DHCP, remote access and authentication.to ensure they deliver the required level of performance to support the uninterrupted operation of business operation.The position is responsible for providing leadership, management, co-ordination and direction to the support teams, both internal and external, for maintaining the effective operation of Enterprise Networks. Work closely with Head of Infrastructure & Service Delivery, Infrastructure Manager, Service Delivery Manager, clients and stakeholders to plan and prioritise project and programmes to ensure successful delivery of the Annual Works OCMS Plan (AWOP) and Franchise Operational Control Management System Management Plan (FOMP) monitoring progress and reporting on status to MTM stakeholders to meet MR4 Franchise Obligations.Key Responsibilities:

Provide asset management leadership and direction to support the principles and approach of ISO55000
Provide leadership and direction to a multi-disciplinary functional team so that outcomes and service levels are met, ensuring effective quality control, communication management, change control management, risk management and issue management
Identify, implement and drive improvements in the way in which the Enterprise Network is managed, facilitating a continual improvement culture
Act as internal customer for the delivery of all augmentation and renewal projects and programmes across the Enterprise Network, ensuring the projects and program deliver outcomes that support the network performance
Produce and/or review high level and detailed designs pertaining to the Enterprise Network
Provide feedback and contribute to the Enterprise Network Design architectural roadmap ensuring that future needs are catered for as technology evolves
Develop reports and utilise associated tools to identify and correct problem areas 
Provide direction to the Project Managers for the effective delivery and execution of all augmentation and renewal projects and programmes across the Enterprise Network, including specific FOMP & AWOP as required to ensure the quality, cost, time and scope parameters of the projects are adequately set and achieved
Influence key stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the performance of the Enterprise Network and Infrastructure supports the outcomes and objectives of the broader company
Implement change management strategies to accommodate controlled flexibility and modification for new and improved methods for planning and execution of Enterprise Network works to ensure traceability and justifiability
Assess demand for resources and design and implement strategies to acquire these resources from both internal and external sources
Ensure vendor management, resource management, billing management, budget allocation and lead functional and solution development for the operation of the Enterprise Network
Ensure high level engagement with stakeholders including within team and client meetings so that critical issues that impact on the Enterprise Network are actioned
Effectively minimise and manage exposure to risk across the Enterprise Network and ensure effective controls are implemented.
Create options and make recommendations for the short and long-term obsolescence management and ongoing maintenance/support arrangements
Prepare and present qualitative and quantitative reports, briefings and information on the Enterprise Network performance
Ensure continual improvement of the Enterprise Network performance through the implementation of root cause analysis and development of mitigation strategies and plans
Ensure defect management processes including techniques, methodologies and standard processes are adhered to reduce the risk of defects including analysis and reporting of defect information to assist management and risk management, process improvement and project management
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies
Provide input on the Enterprise Network team member performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques and provide performance feedback and goal-setting and conduct annual performance assessments.
Actively participate in risk workshops, safety in design workshops and design meetings to ensure the identified residual risks of infrastructure and OCMS/Project works are contained by appropriate control measures to reduce the risk to “So Far As Is Reasonably Practicable”

Experience:

Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or Engineering (Telecommunications, Computer Systems, Software Systems) or equivalent recognised by Engineers Australia
Experience in a large enterprise network environment or equivalent industrial network operational environment
Minimum ten years of network management and service delivery or related experience
Demonstrated experience in delivering technical based solutions and/or project outcomes to a high quality
Previous experience working in multi-disciplinary design team(s) integrating systems and networks
Qualified (or willingness to be qualified) in Safe-working systems relevant to the MTM rail network
Experience and knowledge of working within a rail environment, following rail procedures and processes is desirable
Ability to apply a System Engineering Methodology i.e. System Definition and Operational Concept Document Development
Ability to plan and develop detailed design packages for delivery, according to defined standards / specifications
Ability to plan, budget and organise work in an efficient and effective manner. A good knowledge of OH&S, rail safety, quality assurance and environmental management requirements
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including report writing
Proven ability to mediate, analyse and work under conditions of diversely conflicting requirements
Possess analytical, evaluative and decision-making skills
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to:
articulate clearly, for both technical and business people, what a particular problem is;
coordinate the efforts of a number of people, to achieve resolutions to problems; and
work as an effective part of a diverse team
Ability to apply risk management processes
Sound organisational and work management skills, in particular the ability to meet their objectives and produce deliverables within agreed timelines
Self-driven and demonstrate skills in identifying issues and the ability to independently manage all resources to achieve the required outcomes.
Commercial/Financial experience and ability to understand the monetary impact of changes to designs and engineering systems
Ability to develop and manage asset management systems
Ability to develop and maintain system performance reports
Ability to identify and drive improvement opportunities to deliver better and consistent asset performance
