With recent growth we now have a need for a Supply Chain Commodity Manager to join our Supply Chain Management Team located in Brisbane.
BASIC FUNCTION
The Supply Chain Commodity Manager will be responsible for the strategic sourcing and contract management of various indirect categories within Raytheon Australia. The objective of the position will be to deliver strategic sourcing solutions that maximize value, manage risk, improve efficiencies and ensure quality
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Develop, implement and manage procurement strategies for Raytheon Australia"s indirect commodities.
Lead and/or provide analytical project management support for cross-functional / cross organizational initiatives.
Perform market analysis to ensure that all sourcing outcomes support the business and financial objectives.
Proactively manage supplier engagement including management reporting, performance reviews, relationship development and problem resolution.
Plan and initiate independent audits of supplier performance and contract compliance with indirect commodities.
Manage the development of staff involved in local purchase activities on procurement related processes and procedures.
Essential skills required for this role are:

5 years prior management experience
2 years supply or procurement industry experience
Proficiency in area supply chain management
Experience with procurement functions, including the negotiation, management and administration of Supplier Agreements and Subcontracts.
Ability to make sound judgments
Superior problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively & efficiently
