Middle Office and Trade Support Role in a highly regarded Australian boutique fund manager.
Reporting to the Head of Operations, the role covers the following functions: Trade support across the full trade lifecycle Security and cash reconciliations Unit pricing validation Fund manager support Projects, fund implementations and transitions. Experience and Qualifications: Degree qualified in Finance, Business or Economics; Minimum of three years’ experience in a middle office, trade support or broking environment; Strong level of investment market knowledge with an in-depth understanding of trade lifecycles; Knowledge of financial instruments, especially equities, but also including, derivatives, FX, CFDs, swaps and forwards; High level of numerical ability, attention to detail and excellent communication skills; Ability to maintain strong relationships with counterparties and stakeholders such as fund managers, analysts, brokers and custodians. Strong excel skills Knowledge of Bloomberg AIMS and IRESS would be a significant advantage To be successful in this process, you will need to demonstrate your experience, and ability to work as part of a small team in a fluid and changing environment.
