EL1: $60.00 per hour plus super/EL2: $70.00 per hour plus super
The Workforce Planning Organisational Design project is responsible for the creation of the organisational design framework, strategy and structure as well as the planning for the transition from build to business as usual. The analysts will develop strategies and designs in conjunction with Branch Managers and the People, Culture and Training division to ensure the successful implementation of the workforce strategy. Successful candidates should have experience in using data analytics to support the organisational strategy which will contain job evaluations and a review of work level standards, current and future organisational structures, business unit activities and strategic process improvement, change schedules and documentation to support the strategy.
Duties required for EL2 role:
Build a framework for organisational design
Develop a 3 year organisational strategy to enable the transition of the agency from build to business as usual
Develop a detailed organisational design and structure
Build a transition plan for the implementation of the organisational design
Develop an organisational strategy in line with policies, processes and governance
Work with Branch managers to develop and implement one year plans in-line with the organisational strategy
Setting priorities and evaluating workforce activities to achieve business outcomes.
Developing data analytics to support the organisational strategy
Preparing project and work plans detailing measurable milestones, managing priorities and work progress to achieve business outcomes.
Expertise to provide specialised advice and recommendations on a range of workforce activities
Demonstrating an awareness of the broader impacts and implications of workforce activities in relation to achieving business outcomes.
Managing and supporting staff to complete projects and tasks.
Duties required for EL1 role:
Assist with the development of an organisational strategy in line with policies, processes and governance
Assist with the organisational design to determine appropriate roles and work level standards
Coordinate and conduct job evaluations
Benchmarking business unit activities in consultation with the branch manager
Contribute to the development of manuals and guidance materials to support the implementation of organisational strategy.
Prepare organisational documentation to support workforce design
