The College of Design and Social Context (DSC) encompasses RMIT University’s renowned art, communication, built environment, design, education and social science disciplines and is comprised of eight schools. The college has 24,500 students and 980 staff.
The Role and Your Responsibilities
The Senior Coordinator, Research Development is responsible for coordinating the development and management of Research Centre and Research Group reporting and governance within the College. You will contribute to strategic business planning and support senior academics in liaising internally and externally with research partners and grant funding bodies. You will also maintain and undertake DSC research office data analytics and act as the primary DSC College liaison contact for DSC research structures and processes.
Skills & Experience Required
The successful applicant will have demonstrated experience in contributing to a successful research funding management/development environment, preferably within the higher education sector. You will have experience in planning, developing and implementing initiatives which improve the quality of research funding applications and outcomes as well as the ability to analyse data, prepare reports and manage sensitive data within appropriate protocols.
Your ability to build positive senior stakeholder relationships will be key to your success in this role.
