The Regulatory Portfolio Office (RPO) is responsible for managing the regulatory change pipeline, and for supporting the implementation of new regulatory changes. The RPO aims to optimise the implementation of regulatory change by shaping future regulation through industry consultations, and supporting its delivery to provide the best outcome for NAB and its customers.
This role will conduct analysis of the regulatory change pipeline, be involved in early and active industry consultation, and support stakeholders to shape solutions to meet the regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
Review and analyse new regulatory changes, and conduct impact assessments with stakeholders across the organisation.
Support the Bank regulatory changes through their lifecycle, and contribute to management of the pipeline.
Provide strong research, insight and analytical input on regulatory change response options and issues for decisioning, to support progress of the One NAB Plan.
Prepare presentations and communications to stakeholders as required, including reporting packs.
Proactively manage risk and meet all policy and compliance requirements.
Strong analytical and report writing skills.
Ability to apply a pragmatic approach to problems.
Previous experience in the financial services sector is highly desirable.
Exposure to financial services legislation and regulations preferable.
Strong networking skills with the ability to communicate with and influence key stakeholders.
