Development Team Leader
Location: QLD - Brisbane Northern Suburbs

Provide technical expertise in the application landscape whilst leading internal developers to support the delivery model.
You will be tasked with building best practice development capabilities while performing code reviews to ensure compliance to development standards.
• Build and improve Core applications by translating requirements into fit for purpose applications that work within the overall system architecture• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including document creation, testing, implementation and post implementation warranty support• Optimize development practices and improve speed to market capabilities• Maintain and follow programming standards and system change management procedures• Champion governance and optimisation of internal Code standards to ensure best practice • Lead and mentor team within Applications Delivery Team• Undertake unit tests for all new code and perform QA on code produced by internal and external team• Mature development and release processes for alignment • Develop deployment plan documentation and requirements to present at CAB (change approval board), including task breakdowns and estimates
To be successful in this role you will have:
• Approximately 7 years’ experience in Application Development• Experience working with AJAX, JQuery, JSON, XML, Node.js, angularJS. ABAP, Java• Knowledge of SAP ECC, CRM, PI, Netweaver Gateway• PHP, JSP, or Java experience preferable• Experience with Source control and version control tools (GIT, Mercurial, SVN) • Web Services (SOAP, REST)
